The Kaduna State Coordinator of the National Commission for Refugees, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRM) Hajiya Indo Abba has paid a working visit to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Northwest Directorate Office, Kaduna.
The commission’s delegation was received by the Director, Zonal Director, Mal. Sani Lokoja and the Head of Kaduna Operations Office, Mal. Suleiman Muhammad at the agency’s office in Kaduna.
The Kaduna state Coordinator for NCFRM, Hajiya Indo Abba stated that the familiarization visit was aimed to forster sustainable collaboration between the two organisations.
On his part, the Director, NEMA Director reiterated the agency’s quest in coordinating workforce towards effective and efficient emergency response through collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Also, the Head of Operations reaffirmed NEMA’s commitment in sustaining a strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders in disaster management.
Among the NCFRM delegation is the Head of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Rabi Umar, Head of Administration, Firdausi Umar Ibrahim and Damina Moses, Executive Officer.
