AddressWe are all aware that when disasters occur, it is the communities that suffer the impact most. It is these communities that constitute what is often referred to as Disaster Fronts. Being at the forefront, communities need to have the capacity to respond to disaster threats. Evidence abounds to show that the communities that experience the least damage and recover fastest from disasters are those that rely on mutual support system and their own resources.
