INVITATION TO TENDER
1. INTRODUCTION
As part of its determination to fully implement its 2011 Capital Appropriation, the National Emergency Management Agency intends to engage competent and credible contractors to undertake the procurements.
In view of this, tenders are invited from qualified companies for the jobs/supplies listed below:

Establishment and Equipping of Digital (Global) Library at the Agency’s Headquarters, Abuja.

Equipping and Furnishing of Agency’s Strong-rooms/Central Pay Offices at the five Zonal offices (South-West, South-East, South-South, North-East, and Abuja Operational Office).

Procurement of GPS, Equipment and Software for the GIS Unit.

2.TENDER REQUIREMENTS
Each tender must include the following:
- Full details of the Company’s profile, including contact address, phone number(s) and e-mail address;
- Evidence of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
- Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years;
- Evidence of VAT Registration Certificate;
- Evidence of Company fulfillment of statutory obligations of its employees with respect to pensions in accordance with section 16(6)(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 (for companies with five and above staff);
- Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past;
- Evidence of financial capability to undertake the projects;
- Evidence of payment of non-refundable tender/processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) per Lot, to the National Emergency Management Agency.
3. BID DOCUMENTS
Bid documents will be issued to interested bidders after the payment of non-refundable tender fees of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) per lot. Tenders for each lot must be separately paid for and submitted as specified in the bid documents.
4.SUBMISSION OF TENDERS
Tenders must be submitted in properly sealed and secured envelopes clearly indicating the Lot Numbers and labeled appropriately addressed to:

Maitama – Abuja.
Tenders must be submitted not later than six (6) weeks from the date of publication. Thus, the submission will be closed by 10 a.m. on Monday, 19th September 2011, while the opening exercise will follow by 11.00 a.m. on the same date at the Agency’s Headquarters.
